Thanks for the mention, really appreciate it! I didn't know about Ryan's blog, skimmed through it and it looks very interesting, will give it a read!
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
I always have fun putting these kinds of posts together, if it broadens the
exposure of a few people then I've done my job.

Heyo Brett! Thanks for the mention and kind words! Also a couple of new blogs I need to check out now, too!
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago

I've already said 'ta' on Twitter, but cheers again, Brett. I've added the link to this post from my site - check it out for yourself. Some sites that I've not seen before either, so I'll have to get my self into gear and give them a look.
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
Thanks for the link back Ryan, I see you've been able to create a bit of a
    testimonial out the post!

No problem. I kept it discreet about half-way down the site. If it's not what you were expecting, just let me know and I'll take it down. Cheers!
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
Looks good! Thanks for putting it up. You've gone into the blog roll here
    too.

    unrelated followup: Thanks Brett!
  • Liv · 6 months ago
Another "thank you" from me, too. It's very flattering to be included, especially in the company of these fine bloggers. Thank you!
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
You're welcome Liv, you're in good company. I'm still learning too,
    maintaining the beginners mind.

    Thanks again!

No worries! When I posted it about a week ago I got quite a few suggestions about other people that are blogging from outside Japan so it has been a real eye-opener for me. It's good to meet so many enthusiastic people.
  • Shane · 6 months ago
Great list! I have had the pleasure of reading most of the sites mentioned and following many of these folks on twitter.
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
I made a point of including people that are on twitter, because, well they're easier to follow ;-)
  • Mike · 6 months ago
Me too! Although I keep going back they keep kicking me out (well I keep leaving)
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
Hey Mike, I'm sure they'll let you back in. I just noticed that there is big contingent of Japanese students from Sheffield on Twitter. Why do you think there is such an interest in that department?
  • McAlpine · 6 months ago
Nice layout and some interesting choices.
  • rainbowhill · 6 months ago
Thanks man, always go for variety. I really hope that a post like this
encourages people to seek out interesting stuff to read and builds
relationships between bloggers. It's always fun to do a post like this,
    thanks for dropping by.

Great list! make's me feel better that I don't have to go to Japan to blog about it.
  • rainbowhill · 5 months ago
It funny that people worry about that as much as they do. All sorts of
bloggers blog about all sorts of things they're interested in it should be
no different. In fact blogging about Japan before you ever get the chance to
go is a great way to get to know the place, and to enhance your experience
    of it.

If you're genuine about it, that will come across and people will find your
    posts interesting.

Interesting how Japan and its culture has captivated people worldwide.
  • rainbowhill · 4 months ago
Sure is! I wonder if the Japanese even realise?
